In Conversation with Ciaran Thapar hosted by Que The Wolf

In conversation with Ciaran Thapar, follows Ciaran’s life through his experiences with young people, violence, Brixton and everything in between, that lead him to his debut book CUT SHORT – Youth Violence, Loss and Hope in the City.

Host and creative activist Kweku Quakyi ‘Que The Wolf’ will uncover what it takes to turn passion into action and how you can carve out a creative career which utilises young people’s strengths, be it in the creative industries or to positively impact the community they are in.

This talk was part of The Space In Between festival hosted by Make It in Brixton in October 2021.

We all want to make it.
Make it in our chosen career. Maybe make it big.

Sometimes perhaps just make it to pay day.
But whatever our ambition, what unites us all is the desire to thrive, be recognised – and be supported.
And that’s what Lambeth’s Creative Enterprise Zone is all about. Supporting creative people to do amazing creative things without having to leave our amazingly creative corner of south London.
Because we all want to make it – of course – but more than that, we want to Make It in Brixton.
