With support from the team, two of the Borough’s creative organisations have received significant Capital Grants from Arts Council England.
Raw Material Music and Media will use the grant to develop its three-storey building, improving access, creating better workspaces throughout and a co-working space on the top floor for local creatives. The building will also become more energy efficient and reduce Raw Material’s carbon footprint.
B3Media will invest in a micro-studio at its new base in Carlton Mansions, a creative hub linked to Brixton House. The studio will give emerging and established creatives access to space and tools for XR motion capture, 3D animation, video editing and game engine software.
