Wu-Lu Kicks Off New Music Venue: Tiny Brixton

This Autumn, Brixton-based music and mental health charity, Raw Material, is launching its latest social enterprise and performance venue: Tiny Brixton.

Tiny Brixton will be bringing big names from the world of music, comedy and performing arts whilst also showcasing local talent. This is an opportunity for the public to join their favourite artists for an intimate and exclusive performance in the 50-capacity venue with a bar sponsored by Brixton Brewery.

Known for their work in supporting the local community, Raw Material is using Tiny Brixton as a chance for artists to connect with their fans, for the local community to have exclusive and affordable access to gigs and to raise funds to support its music and wellbeing programmes, keeping them free to the public.

Tiny Brixton launches its Autumn season with an exclusive set from local Brixtonite, Wu-Lu, showcasing his new debut album Loggerhead. He’ll be joined on this programme by comedian Ali Woods, straight from his Edinburgh run with ‘Best Friend Ever’ and Mock The Week’s Ahir Shah with his latest work in progress show.

Tiny Brixton is also hosting Sofar Sounds on a monthly basis, tickets for all of these shows can be found on their socials and through Dice.
