Hours: 14 to 21 hrs per week 

Remuneration: £17.00 

£20.00 per hour

ML Community Enterprise (MLCE) work with the young people and communities of the Coldharbour Ward and surrounding areas of Lambeth.  Our team delivers targeted interventions, youth, and community work in Lambeth for over 20 years and are experienced in community engagement and project delivery.  We provide targeted and co-produced therapeutic projects around crime trauma, bereavement and loss, depression, and mental health, reducing offending and providing a platform for young people and communities to create new and positive identities for themselves.

You will be part of the Key Working & Employability Team that works holistically with young people and adults up to the age of 30 to improve employment readiness bringing them closer to the job market and supporting them into work.

The purpose of the role is to: 

  • provide a service that engages, motivates, and facilitates participants to make progress on an employment pathway, through a range of on to one sessions, therapeutic sessions, group activities, training, and supportive measures.
  • be responsible for a caseload of participants, providing high quality support and achieving set targets for participants’ progress
  • establish good partnership working  with  key  agencies  and  stakeholders  such as counsellors, housing, schools, training providers and other agencies where appropriate; and
  • be responsible for the timely and accurate inputting of on-line records and submission of achievement evidence.
