DLUHC are looking for organisations to develop and run projects seeking to commemorate, celebrate and educate people about the contribution of the Windrush Generation in communities across our country. This includes those who arrived on the ship, their contemporaries, and descendants.
This programme will support people of all ages and backgrounds to embrace people’s shared history and help champion a sense of pride of the contributions made by British Caribbean communities. The minimum amount available is £5,000 and the maximum is £50,000.
The bidders workshop is an opportunity for community representatives and groups, charities and local authorities to:
• Find out what DLUHC looking for
• Ask any queries about the grant scheme
The workshop will be held online on Thursday 17th February 12-1pm.
Register for the workshop or find out more information here.
We all want to make it.
Make it in our chosen career. Maybe make it big.
Sometimes perhaps just make it to pay day.
But whatever our ambition, what unites us all is the desire to thrive, be recognised – and be supported.
And that’s what Lambeth’s Creative Enterprise Zone is all about. Supporting creative people to do amazing creative things without having to leave our amazingly creative corner of south London.
Because we all want to make it – of course – but more than that, we want to Make It in Brixton.
